I finally received my new tablet in the mail yesterday. My old one I've had for years doesn't work on my new mac that runs OS X Lion, so I've had to upgrade.
I got a Bamboo Capture, which came with PSE 8 (I have 6, so another upgrade, w00t!), and this is my first fully colored image from it. Still feels more like a doodle. :\
I kinda like how the background came out though, I'm trying to get into digital painting, so this seems a little bit like it.

Also we get a little bit more scenery from Pyre's world/country. Thesis is the planet which he is from, and he dwells on the mohave-esque desert country of Oustria. Nothing but sand, dirt, and blue sky.
I base his world on a much more cleaner, colorfully-saturated version of Fallout New Vegas. I remember playing it and seeing how much more prettier the sky was compared to Fallout 3.
I have this fascination with the sky and clouds, so I really like how it turned out in here.

I hope to do more of these kind of pictures with Oustria after The City, I can't help but love drawing vast landscapes. ^w^
